I went and looked at all your pix and read every accompanying text. First of all I love, love the images ! How sharp they are! The ones of the food and wine etc look like professional commercials with excellent atmosphere. I feel like reaching over and get that glass of wine. The views of the mountains and houses great ! And the views like the cat to set a tone of intimacy. I don’t envy how hot you must have been..We here in Florida (Orlando) are dealing with 95 F, but of course the air here is humid which makes it even more uncomfortable. I spoke with a sister-in-law in Madrid where it was 104 F. I wonder if it’s hot like that all over Europe. where many of these old houses don’t have AC. When you think of Switzerland you think of cool mountain air, but apparently it can be pretty hot there ,too. And then you guys with the motorcycle gear !Oh, boy ! I found it interesting that you came through the “Heidi” region. I have the book written by Johanna Spyri her married name (Heusser maiden name) born in 1827. She lived in Hirzel and the country side inspired her to write Heidi. I didn’t know they named a village after her book and if that is the same one where the author grew up. Anyway you had another unique experience again and pictures to look at later at home and enjoy the trip all over again.
